I don’t know a crocus from a daffodil unless they’re in bloom, but I know signs of spring when I see them. Found these lovely flower tips poking from the melting snow in my garden. After enduring the hardest winter in my state’s recorded history, I’m thrilled that spring is almost here!

Yes, almost! Even in Texas we’re ready for spring (even though we didn’t have the seriously bad weather that you all had). We had one last blast of winter over the weekend but things are beginning to brighten up.

I heard birds singing outside my window and it brightened my spirits. I’m looking forward to spring more than I have in years. Thanks for sharing your picture, Adele, it brought me hope that spring really will arrive soon!

Regina–I heard about the unusual weather you had in Texas. There was a time this winter when the entire country was covered with snow or ice. Very strange. We have had over 50 inches, and it’s beginning to melt. Can’t wait to see green grass again!
Marie–Yes, let’s hope spring really comes with the equinox and chases the snow away until next year.
