CLASSIC HUNKS: Mark Valley
Since the Fox premiere of “Human Target,” called James Bond on adrenaline, starring Mark Valley as Christopher Chance, I’ve been wedged on the sofa Wednesday nights like a lime slice to tequila. I’ve been a Mark Valley fan through his television series’ ups and downs, and though I loved him on “Boston Legal,” I think he’s found his niche with “Human Target.”
Not just another pretty face, Mark Valley was a math major at West Point. He served his country for five years, was stationed in Germany where he became fluent in the language, and took part in Operation Desert Storm.
His acting career began after being discovered by a casting agent in Berlin. European films followed until he returned to the USA, where he appeared in soap operas.
Mark Valley played the villain in “Fringe,” surprising audiences with the story twist.
This all-American guy might play Captain America in an upcoming feature film. Fans voted him the #1 choice for the role. Whether or not he plays the part, I think Mark Valley is a fabulous CLASSIC HUNK. Don’t you agree?

Ooh, thank you for brightening my Monday morning, Adele! Funny but when someone says the words “alpha male”, I think of Mark Valley. He just epitomizes that kind of character. Good choice!

Yummy! I love Mark Valley. Thanks, Adele!

Mark Valley has been one of my absolute favorites hunks since Keen Eddie. He’s been on my inspiration board for years. I’ve never been much for blondes but he made me change my mind with that smile and those blue eyes. Great choice.

Mark played on my soap (Days of Our Lives) many years ago. I thought he had to be the worst actor ever. He’s definitely grown as an actor since then. I love Human Target, and I think he’s perfect for the part.
Good pick of your Hunk, Adele!

Thank you for introducing me to Mark Valley. Truthfully, I’d never heard of him before. But I agree, he’s a hunk. Enjoyed the pictures.

Is it wrong of me to say I haven’t seen him in anything? I have noticed him on commercials and thought he was hot, but I haven’t seen him act.
not, I think, that that’s a prerequisite for being a hunk…

Carla–A breath of fresh Monday morning air, eh? I agree he’s a perfect alpha male. And those blue eyes are incredible!
Marie–You’re most welcome!
Stephanie–I’ve always been partial to blond men with blue eyes. Glad you see my point of view with Mark Valley. I need to check out your inspiration board!
Lynn–I agree he’s grown as an actor. Loved him on Boston Legal. He had his own show a few years ago–I think he played a detective named Eddie.
Human Target definitely suits him. Glad you enjoyed your visit!
Carolyn–Mark Valley is a television actor. His “Boston Legal” fans have, no doubt, followed him to his new series “Human Target.”
Judi–Dahlink, you must check out “Human Target” on Wednesday nights on Fox. The show’s tagline is James Bond on adrenaline. Very cool.
Thanks for visiting and posting, all!

Love your Classic Hunks posts, I’m collecting the whole series!
Nice choice, but not just all-American, men like him populate Scandinavia! I’d post a pic of Hubby but he keeps saying no.
Keep ‘em coming, Adele!

Me love him long time - since he began on Days of Our Lives

Dita–You are a dear! Thanks for collecting my CLASSIC HUNKS series. I have to figure out how to link them on one page for those who are interested. I’ll keep doing them as long as readers want them.
Joy–I never saw Mark Valley on Days of Our Lives, and there are very few pics of him available pre “Boston Legal.” He must have looked great in his military uniform before his acting days.
Thanks for playing!

A hunky math major, eh? Yum. Don’t tell my husband!!
As always, thanks for brightening my day, Adele!

I have a connection to Mark…my husband taught at West Point, but years before Mark would have been there! Nice to see someone who served his country doing so well.
Nice “Hunk” you choose for your blog today!

Laura–Glad I could brighten your day with my hunky math major, military man, actor. Some people hog the assets, don’t they?
Marianne–I agree with you it’s nice to know a former serviceman is doing so well. Mark certainly is a winner.

I don’t watch a lot of tv but I’ve seen his before and he’s super hot. He has a polished hunkiness that is just irresistable.

Regina–I like that clean-cut, polished look, too. I’m not much for guys with a two-day stubble and untrimmed hair. I like men who look freshly showered and well-groomed after their vigorous workout.

I absolutely love “Human Target.” When the promos started on TV- I recognized him from DOOL’s. I watched him as Jack, until he went off. He was great on Days. It is wonderful to see such an awesome show on every
week. I hope it continues forever. Marvelous shows and such a handsome
Mark Valley.
