Erotic Escape on Valentine’s Day
Valentine’s Day is the perfect girly holiday. When else can women expect sex and romance, chocolate, flowers and maybe a little bling from our men–all on the same day–either in real life or between the pages of a hot romance novel?
Books by Adele Dubois promise erotic escape. Sometimes the adventure of a lifetime takes place on the back of a Harley-Davidson motorcycle, when a Good Girl takes a chance and rides off with a handsome stranger.
Others can be found on a desert road while driving a red, Retro Ford Thunderbird convertible with a magical GPS system, able to locate what a woman with a broken heart needs most.
Or on a jet to a mystical tropical island promising restored youth and the fulfillment of every secret sexual desire.
Don’t want to travel far? Visit the house in a small town whose ghost protects a lover’s lifelong secret.

Well since I’m single, I’m going to say I’d like a man…but if that doesn’t work out… well some great dinner with some good friends will do the job.
February 12th, 2010 at 2:19 pm
I’d like a full body massage for Valentine’s Day, complete with soft music, candlelight, body oil and my man’s strong hands on my skin. You get the picture. Afterward, we’ll take a shower and then have a nice dinner that he cooks.
Thanks for heightening my anticipation, Adele. Looking forward to the day.

Anna–A great dinner with good friends sounds wonderful. Remember the romance novel before bed. Thanks for visiting. I hope to see you again soon.
Marie–Yum. I got tingles reading your post. Happy Valentine’s Day!

Elise–Honestly? Ah, come on, I think you can imagine better than that. Not even a box of Godiva chocolates? With zero calories?
Thanks for visiting and posting.

I’m single so a good man would be wonderful and if I can’t have that how about some books with some good men in them.
February 12th, 2010 at 4:20 pm
Oh heck. I could go for the Godiva with or without the calories! We don’t get very fancy but I’m figuring I’ll get flowers and dinner. Can’t complain about that. After 27 yrs of marriage, we’ve become rather ‘non exciting’ siiiiigh. I DO remember those early years though. Ummm. FUUUUUN.
February 12th, 2010 at 4:39 pm
For Valentine’s Day… chocolate, wine, and a sloooow evening alone with my husband — something we rarely get.
February 12th, 2010 at 4:49 pm
Sherry–I agree! That’s exactly what I was saying. Did you check my books page?
Happy Valentine’s Day!
Regina–UMMM, FUN is right. That’s what I’m talking about, girl! What’s your DESIRE?
Twinkles–Sounds like you’re in the Valentine’s Day groove. Have a wonderful, romantic night!
Thanks for visiting and playing!

oh a day of pampering by hubby . He can hand the kids ,cooking and cleaning, through in a babysitter and a little romance and I’d be happy as a clam. But I’d settle for just another happy day with my family
February 12th, 2010 at 9:58 pm
Carol–The eye candy reminds me of Valentine’s candy. Yummy!
Jennifer–A stress-free day sounds lovely.

I want my husband to hand me a box of Godiva chocolates, take me in his arms and say he also wants to move to Arizona and let’s start preparing the house to sell so we can get out West as soon as possible.
February 13th, 2010 at 12:49 am
Chocolate and a *really* good book!!
February 13th, 2010 at 1:09 am
Carolyn–I hope you find your heart’s desire this Valentine’s Day. Be sure to eat those chocolates before you arrive in the Arizona heat. LOL.
Marcieo: I love chocolates. They taste better when reading, so enjoy!
Happy Valentine’s Day.
Thanks for your visits!

Sadly, what I want most is to not have to work! A man, some chocolate and a big bed are next on the list :-).
February 13th, 2010 at 4:38 am
Some good music, dancing, laughter, a bit of a chat, & fun…topped off by cuddling & a sweet treat…

My heart’s desire? A significant other maybe or a trip to Europe or retail therapy or all of the above ;P
February 13th, 2010 at 8:50 am
I’d just like to have a good man in my life. I haven’t had anybody to love(or just lust after) since my husband died more than eight years ago.
February 13th, 2010 at 9:07 am
What would I like for Valentines Day? A full body massage, a nice box of chocolates, a dozen red bud roses, a new bed and a gorgeous man to help me break it in.
February 13th, 2010 at 2:15 pm
Susan–Maybe your man can relieve your workday stress with chocolate and a soothing massage afterward. Happy Valentine’s Day!
Michelle–You summed up the day perfectly. Have fun!
Camille–That’s an impressive list. Retail therapy? LOL. Retail therapy in Italy with a hot, rich guy who adores you and loves to buy you things. Hey, I think we just plotted a new romance novel!
Beth–As a long-time married woman, I empathize. I’m truly sorry for your loss. Treat yourself to something special this weekend.
A friend of mine lost her husband after 25 years of marriage and joined an online dating service. That might sound cliche’, but she met some great guys that way and just got remarried. She’s very happy.
I wish you all the best.
Patsy–Sounds perfect! Happy Valentine’s Day!
Thanks for visiting and sharing, all!

My desires are simple, time spent with the ones I love.
February 13th, 2010 at 8:50 pm
For me it is the little things. Breakfast in bed, the kids away for the day, dinner cooked by my hubby and some snuggle time on the couch.
February 13th, 2010 at 9:31 pm
Miranda–I can relate.
Cathy–Sounds cozy and loving.
Happy Valentine’s Day! Thanks for visiting and posting.

A good man that doesn’t do drugs and has a good job. Hard to find one around here.
February 14th, 2010 at 3:48 am
ooh I’m with the reader that said she’d like a really good book, but I think I’ll add a nice glass of wine instead of the chocolate.
February 14th, 2010 at 4:17 am
Amy–I hope you find the man of your dreams very soon. Big cyber hugs.
Jen–I like Riesling wine best while I’m reading. It’s a great combination. Do you have a favorite?

Here’s the chocolate, flowers, sexy gift, and breakfast in bed. We can talk about that other thing when everyone else has left.
February 14th, 2010 at 4:49 pm
I want no more snow! I want sunshine, warmth, and to see the grass, again!
Happy V-Day to all!
February 14th, 2010 at 6:54 pm
Roscoe–Pssst, everyone’s gone. It’s just the two of us here on the Internet. What did you want to say?
Tracey–We have over four FEET of snow here and I’m ready to scream. More snow coming on Tuesday. I agree with you that spring can’t arrive soon enough.
Happy Valentine’s Day! Thanks for visting and posting.
